ROLAND SANDS
Award-winning Racer and Bike Builder

Award-winning racer turned award-winning custom bike builder Roland Sands, whose outrageous bikes have become iconic, will be exhibiting at MOTOEXPO SAN DIEGO that roars into the Del Mar Fairgrounds October 6 and 7. Roland Sands is totally cool, having gone from racing fulltime and winning the AMA National in 2000 to out-building and out-racing Jesse Rooke in the Discovery Channel’s Biker Build-Off last August. Roland Sands and his custom bikes have dominated the front covers of all the major motorcycle and sports bike magazines, accounting for 25 covers since 1999.

RANDY-CYCLEVISIONS

Randy is a "local". He has lived in San Diego for 30 years. Riding since he was seventeen, he is a fixture in the biker community and an icon in the Motorcycle media.
His business is CycleVisions. While the focus is service, his passion is design. Harley Davidson Bagger Design. Many patented parts are to his credit. The "Road-Rod", is a V-Rod completely set up as a bagger. The "Bareback" quick release saddlebag system and "Baggertail", a saddlebag bracket system for installing FLH style saddlebags on a Softail.

Randy's work has appeared in America Bagger, Hot Bike, American Rider Iron works, Edge Magazine, and Tim Remus.He is a long time supporter and contributor to the San Diego Automotive Museum's Motorcycle collection, which currently displays Randy's 1959 Harley Davidson Pan Head,"Elvira" which appeared in EasyRider Magazine. Randy is a long time member of the legendary "Hamster" Motorcycle Club.
